The team is based in Knoxville, Illinois, although we accept members from all parts of Knox County (from grades 9-12). We meet twice a week on-season and occasionally for outreach off-season; the team is always understanding of prior commitments and conflicting extracurriculars so robotics will never keep a student from another activity.

Reaching Out to the Community
Each year we reach out to the community and make the team known across Knox County. Through community service and hosted events, the Binary Bullets make a name for themselves and FIRST robotics.

AccomplishmentsThe team has a decorated history with consistent accomplishments each year. We won the first place INSPIRE award twice at qualifiers and second place INSPIRE once at state, propelling us to the world championships. Additionally, we won the Collins Aerospace Innovate award at state in the 2019-2020 season and the COMPASS award in another instance. Each season since our second we've won awards at qualifiers, including the INSPIRE and MOTIVATE awards, and advanced to the state championships.

Educational and Fun
The Binary Bullets build a low-stress environment that fosters student enjoyment and learning and leads to the creation of an innovative and consistent robot. The team is always understanding of prior commitments and conflicting extracurriculars so robotics will never keep a student from another activity.
